Riverbend Christian Nursery School is open to all children who wish to attend and whom we can accommodate. Enrollment numbers are limited to provide greater care and attention for each child.

Who

Children must be a minimum of 3 years old by Sept. 1 of the school year to attend RCNS. 3 year old children will attend the Tuesday/Thursday program. 4 year old children will attend the Monday/Wednesday/Friday program. All children are expected to be toilet trained (no diapers or Pull-Ups allowed) by the time they start school.

When

Children attend either morning or afternoon classes, two or three times per week. Three year olds attend on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Four year olds attend three times per week on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.

What ... Is The Cost

We are a self-supporting, not-for-profit nursery school. Fees-for each child are: $130.00 per month (two classes per week) or $195.00 per month (three classes per week).

A non-refundable registration fee of $45 is expected upon registration.

* There are no parent duty days, fund raising or committee activities

Nursery school begins in September the week following the Labour Day long weekend and runs until the end of May.

How ... To Register

Applications for registration are completed on-line using this web site at specific times of the year. Families who are currently registered and attending the RCNS have the privilege to advance register during the month of January. Alumni families register during the month of February and new families during the month of March. Details are published in the community newspapers in the New Year.

All other requests for registration are accepted throughout the year by contacting the Administrator.

Riverbend Christian Nursery School is conveniently located in the Riverbend Lutheran Church, across the street from St. Mary and Earl Buxton Schools (corner of Rhatigan Road East and Riverbend Road).
