RIGGS Phonics Pre-Reading Program

Monday, Wednesday and Friday students participate in the RIGGS Phonics Pre-Reading program. The RIGGS system attempts to address all learning styles while teaching the phonograms in fun and entertaining ways. RIGGS Phonics students learn the sounds a letter makes (instead of b' is for boat) and to see, hear, say and print the phonogram.

Fun & Games

Mon/Wed/Fri students can participate in activities that develop and challenge their problems solving, abstract reasoning, and fine-motor skills. These include variations on games like BINGO; matching and ordering games; cutting/gluing worksheets; special cooking and baking days.

"Thank you for being so friendly and welcoming to the children and family members. You are good role models for our children. We are very happy with the school and feel blessed to be a part of it!"
